I have a lot of fun creating abstractions. This is a one of many abstract works I have created through applying geometric and color transformations to a photograph. I do not recall what the original photograph was about. I accomplish many of those transformations using photoshop-compatible plug-in filters which apply mathematical transformations to an image. There are hundreds of such filter available, each with many artist-controllable parameters. In other cases I will combine the use 3d modeling software. The essence of Art Kou Kou is such sophisticated image processing which goes far beyond using a computer program to crop images, adjust color balances and correct red eyes.
